Class Council: Get to know the class council
Class President: David Drew
Dryden, NY Biochemistry/Biophysics Drewd2@rpi.edu
I have many goals for the Class of 2009 Council. One of which is to ensure that we remain a representative body of the majority of our class. I believe that the best way to meet this goal is to continuously increase class involvement within the committees of the council. There are many opportunities for students to get involved and I hope that if by looking through our available committees interested people will either contact me or the corresponding Committee Chair to get involved. One of my long standing plans has been to increase the social involvement of our class as a whole. This is why I am constantly looking for opportunities to plan class events and you should look for some of these very soon. Our Council has been highly productive so far in planning our Class Tree, Gift, Events, Ring, Yearbook, etc. and I am excited to see what we will be able to turn out in the future. It should be known that I really value positive feedback as well as constructive criticism as to how the council is being run and I encourage new ideas and suggestions for endeavors that the Council can work on.
Vice President: Kristina Baker
Kristina is also the Chair of Class Gift Committee
Chair of the Class of 2009 Ring Committee: Sara Stylinski
I will try to bring enthusiasm to our class council! I would like to come with ideas and suggestions, and of course news from the Class Ring. I really enjoy being involved with the class and the other members are fantastic members of our class
